Old Poetry

Everybody Before the Old Woman

There once lived a very old woman who smelled like fish soup,

she never bathed and she never shaved and stank like poop.

She was alone in a town that was very pretty and quaint,

40 years past she came down the road and made everyone faint.

The baker was there before the old woman, baking,

the prostitute was before the old woman, faking.

The teacher was before the old woman, teaching,

the preacher knew the teacher, while he was practicing his preaching.

One whiff of the old woman sent everyone running,

and now only the skunks think this is all very funny!
