Your Gone

You walked out the door,
I cried, I got scared,
I begged you to come home.

You walked out the door,
I cried, I got worried,
I waited for you to come home.

You walked out the door,
I shed a single tear,
I moved on.

  1. I had a daughter leave, and I reacted much like your poem...except I never really moved on, though I moved residences - until she moved to the town where I lived.

  2. If it keeps on happening, it kinda numbs the pain.

  3. oh about the man. gotcha. yeah been there and still going through it. The good thing about someone walking out is they force you to make the decision that we as women struggle over... getting the negativity out of our lives.
